About Me!

Hello my name is David Johnson and I produce Affordable Websites; sometimes called Cheap Websites, Cheap Web Design, Cheap Web's, Low Cost Web Design, Cheap Website Solutions, Budget Website, Affordable Cheap Quality Website Design, Affordable Web Solution, and so on.

About 10 years ago I paid a Web Designer to create a website for me, he charged what to me was a lot of money; £700 and when it was finished it was not correct; not what I wanted and the changes I thought were fairly minor. However he refused to do anything at all with it, he sent me a very abusive email and I never heard from him again. I was left with a web site that was not what I wanted. I had of course paid up; so it turned out that he had no reason to do anything further!

The next time I needed a website, I tried to contact a few designers, however having had the experience that I did, I was not confident that the new designer would not end up doing exactly what they wanted. My experience did not give me much confidence in Webmasters. However what it did do is set me on the road to producing my own websites and now offering my services to you for Simple - Affordable - Effective Web Sites!

Not to mention that by then the price was going up and up. So I decided to try to do it myself, which was the start of my Web Site interaction.

In the past years, I have built a number of websites, some for myself and some for others. The thumb nails above are a few of the sites I have produced.

My desire in starting BThrifty was sparked by people who wanted a low cost web site on the Internet but could not afford the prices generally charged by Web designers and consultants.

Generally Web Designers even in these financial times are charging the best part of £1000 and many charge 1000's of £'s.

These customers wanted a simple, no-frills, affordable web design for their product, service, interest or hobby and help in getting their site the best position it can in search engine results, especially Google.

So what is a Cheap Website. Lets start by explaining what it is not!

Poor Quality, Rubbish, Useless, Rough, Unrefined, Nonsense, Not working, Failed, Unavailable, Unprofitable, Inferior, Shoddy, Substandard etc.

A Cheap Website Design is a basic web site, that functions correctly, that your customers can access and either obtain information about your Services or Products, or where they can purchase your Products and Services.

The other thing that it isn't is All Singing & All Dancing.
